The team battled with Faze Clan for the top spot in Pool A, finishing 2-1 and 2nd in our group. Next up... Spacestation Gaming where we were met with a familiar face and former teammate, Lqgend.
We lost that series 3-1, and were moved to the elimination bracket where we faced Lore Gaming - the leading team in South America. This series went the distance and we managed to progress forward in the competition with a 3-2 win over Lore.
Our next opponents were Complexity, one of the stronger North American teams. The squad put in a massive fight, but ultimately, were eliminated from the tournament on Saturday evening following a 3-1 series defeat.
Quadrant finished Top 8 in the first HCS Major of the 2024 calendar year, with our team showing great promise. This was the squads first professional outing as a new roster, and good benchmark to kick on from.
Our eyes and attention now focus on the London Major at the end of May and start of June, where we are hoping the home crowd will springboard us into contention for those Top 4 spots.
