WINNING WEEKEND : QUADRUPLE HEADER

WINNING WEEKEND : QUADRUPLE HEADER

Over the weekend we saw four of our athletes compete in their respective categories battling it out for first place. Iván, Oliver, Keegan and Lando fought their hardest in their races around the world to bring back some good results.

Iván was able to secure his first win of the 2024 Moto3 season, starting from fourth place on the grid at TT Circuit Assen, Netherlands. It had been a long race, but an overtake in the last lap meant Iván took the lead and won with a 12-thousandths-of-a-second photo finish. Iván collected 25 more points in the championship, where he now comfortably sits in fourth place.

Over in Poland, Oliver claimed a podium finish in his 7th race of the season. Starting the weekend off as the first car out on track, Oliver had to battle with loose gravel and lack of a strong racing line. Luckily, he was able to turn it around after the frustrating start and ended up securing 18 points with a final P2 result come the Sunday; he now sits in third place in the WRC2 Championship standings. Look out for him in his upcoming race in Latvia on the 18th-21st July.

With training ahead of the Olympic Games in Paris (26th July to 11th August) well underway, Keegan was on top form as he competed in the X Games over the weekend, securing the Gold medal in the Men’s Skateboard Park category. This marks his third consecutive medal in the X Games. Make sure to wish Keegan luck on his second Olympic games appearance as he takes the Men’s Skateboard Park stage on the 7th of August in Paris!

Unfortunately, Lando didn’t end up crossing the finish line in Austria due to damage to his car in the last stint of an intensely fought race. However, the pace was there and we cannot wait to see what he can do with it in Silverstone this weekend (5th-7th).
